To better understand the domestic job potential from green buildings, the U.S. Green Building Council
(USGBC) estimated the number of jobs associated with the green building market. This study calculates the number of jobs supported by the total green building construction market. The study also estimates the number of jobs that can be attributed to USGBC as a result of developing the LEED rating system.
