Advanced Technology Vehicle (ATV) Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Manufacturing Incentives

The incentive provides loans to ATV manufacturers to aid in the reequipping of ATVs, or the expansion of or establishment of manufacturing facilities.

Terms & Qualifications:

  • Loans provided by the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing Loan Program to ATV and ATV components producers.
  • Certified ATVs are defined as light-duty vehicles or ultra-efficient vehicles that meet specified federal emissions standards and fuel economy requirements.  Ultra-efficient vehicles are defined as fully closed compartment vehicles, designed to accommodate at least two adult passengers.  Vehicle fuel efficiency must reach at least 75 miles per gallon while operating on gasoline or diesel fuel.  Hybrid electric vehicles or fully electric vehicles qualify.
  • Certified components must be designed for ATVs and installed with the purpose of meeting ATV performance requirements
